SUPPLIES
1 bottle (4 fl oz) Elmer’s White School Glue
Acrylic paint
Canvas
A straightedge (such as a ruler or squeegee)
DIRECTIONS
Lay down your canvas. Using your Elmer’s White Glue bottle like a pen, draw a design onto the canvas.
Once finished, let dry for 30 minutes.
Straight from the bottle, dot your canvas with your acrylic paints. Add as many dots and colors as you like!
Take your straightedge and from the top of the canvas, pull it down to the bottom to smear the paint. Note: If using a ruler, push down using the middle of the ruler to ensure the paint smears evenly
Once the paint is dry, carefully peel off the dried glue to reveal the clean lines of your design on the canvas! You’ve got your own beautiful masterpiece. Note: If you wish, you can still achieve the look of negative space by leaving the glue on the canvas
