Measure baking soda and carefully pour into the empty water bottle. Use the funnel if necessary.

Measure vinegar into a cup.

Once baking soda and vinegar is set up, have a handful of Elmer’s Gue ready. Steps 4-5 will need to be quick.

Carefully and quickly pour the cup of vinegar into the bottle. Use parental assistance for this step.

As soon as the vinegar is in the bottle, quickly cover with the handful of Elmer’s Gue over the lid. Seal the sides and marvel as the slime bubble expands! The vinegar and baking soda have started a reaction and created CO2 in the bottle, creating the slime bubble!
