Personalized Pizza Box

- Elmer's Washable School Glue™
- Elmer's 3D Washable Paint Pens™
- Construction Paper
- Elmer's Foam Stickers
- Sticky Jewels
- Sequins

Instructions
- Use a clean, recycled pizza box for this project.
- Cover the box with construction paper. Glue the paper into place. Let the glue dry completely.
- Draw shapes and designs on the box using Elmer's 3D Washable Paint Pens™. Let the paint dry completely.
- Glue sequins to the box. Attach foam stickers and sticky jewels.
- Store your favorite items in your new, personalized box!
- Ask students to measure the dimensions of their pizza boxes so that they can properly cut and fit the construction paper. First, have students measure the dimensions in inches. Then, have students measure the dimensions in centimeters. Discuss the difference in measurements. Have students use the measurements for the height, width, and depth of the box to calculate the surface area and volume.
- Encourage students to write their names on their personalized pizza boxes. Have students brainstorm a list of words to describe themselves. Have students write the descriptive words on their boxes.
- Have students research the history of pizza! Encourage students to find out where this tasty treat originated and how it differs from the pizza they are familiar with today.
