Decorate the visor using Elmer's 3D Washable Paint Pens™. Let the paint dry completely.
Glue sequins to the visor. Let the glue dry completely.
Attach foam stickers for extra decoration.
Allow your visor to dry flat overnight.
Wear your new, colorful creation!

Teaching Tips:

Hats have been a part of fashion for many, many centuries. Have students research the history of hats as a fashion trend. Encourage students to draw pictures of the hats as they have been changed throughout the eras.
Have students brainstorm a list of occupations that typically require a person to wear a hat. Some examples include a construction worker, a firefighter, and a police officer. Have students write a short paragraph about occupation that interests them the most.
Talk to students about the importance of protecting their skin from the sun. Discuss the role the sun's ultraviolet rays play in damaging a person's skin. Encourage students to always where sunscreen and a hat or visor for protection. Have students design a poster that encourages other students to wear sunscreen.
