Supplies Needed
- Craft Bond Extra Strength Glue Stick
- X-ACTO Gripster Knife (and new blade)
- X-ACTO Self-Healing Cutting Mat
- Painters Medium Paint Marker: Metallic Silver
- 4" x 4" x 4" white Chinese take-out box
- The Paper Company/TPC Studio, Hugs and Kisses Collection:
- 12" x 12" scrapbook papers: two Swirly Hearts and one White with Silver Swirl;
- 1" x 2" Tag
- Beads with holes large enough to thread onto wire handle: twenty silver, four mauve, five burgundy and nine white
- Misc.: needle-nose pliers and paper plate
Instructions
- Thread Beads: Remove wire handle from box. Place beads on paper plate to plan pattern for beads to be threaded onto wire handle. Use needle-nose pliers to slightly straighten wire handle (just enough for beads to get past the bent section). Thread beads onto handle bending wire back into squared handle shape as beads are placed onto wire. Set handle aside until box is completed.
- Glue Paper: Plan placement of paper so that opposite sides of box match each other. Apply Craft Bond Extra Strength Glue Stick to one side of box and attach paper. Place covered side of box, paper side down, onto X-ACTOR Self-Healing Cutting Mat. Use X-ACTO Knife to trim along edges to remove excess paper. Continue gluing papers to sides and bottom of box and trimming excess paper.
- Attach Handle: Refold box. Re-insert handle into box.
- Personalize Box: Use Painters Marker to personalize tag. Use Glue Stick to attach tag to front of box.
