- Elmer's Bi-Fold Foam Board™, Opens to 12" x 18"
- Elmer's Craft Bond Extra Strength Glue Stick
- Elmer's X-ACTO Rotary Paper Trimmer
- (2) 12" x 12" scrapbook papers, BW Sweet Talk Pattern Hearts K & Company
- (1 each) 12" x 12" cardstock, indigo and white The Paper Company/TPC Studio
- (1) pkg. valentine sticker Recollections
- (1) sheet peel and stick gemstones, hearts Scrapbookin' Kids Creativity Sheet
- (1) 1" red heart gemstone
- (1) 3/4" pink heart gemstone
- 18" length of 5/8" wide pink dotted ribbon
- Paper edger, wave long
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Red medium tip marker
- Pencil
Instructions
- An adult should use X-ACTO Paper Trimmer to cut 8" x 9" and 7" x 9" pieces from pattern heart paper. Similarly, cut 4" x 9" and 4" x 12" pieces from the indigo cardstock and one 5" x 6" piece from the white cardstock.
- Place closed Bi-Fold Foam Board on table with opening on right side. For front of card, use Elmer's Craft Bond Glue Stick to glue 4" x 9" indigo cardstock piece to top third of card. Glue 8" x 9" heart paper to cover rest of card front.
- Measure and cut ribbon into two 9" lengths. Glue ribbon along top and bottom edges of indigo cardstock.
- Decorate indigo area with valentine stickers and gemstones.
- For inside of card, vertically glue 4" x 12" indigo cardstock piece to right edge. Use wave long paper edger to trim around 7" x 9" heart paper. Center and glue heart paper, overlapping indigo cardstock.
- Use red marker to write a special message onto white cardstock. Center and glue to inside of your Jumbo Valentine.
