Instructions

1. Make Pattern: Refer to pattern to make full size pattern from folded newspaper and cut out.
2. Trace and Cut Foam Board: Use pencil to trace pattern, four times, onto Foam Board. Use X-ACTO Knife (with new blade) and acrylic ruler on X-ACTO Self-Healing Cutting Mat to cut Foam Board pieces. (Hint: Score lightly first and then press more firmly to cut deeper, with several passes of the knife. Replace blades often.)
3. Assemble Box: Working at one corner at a time, apply Craft Bond Extra Strength Glue Stick to foam edge of one panel, align and press Foam Board with print side out, against another panel. Prop and up glued side against something to dry. Repeat with other three corners. (Note: Two white foam edges will show on two of the sides - opposite each other.) Let dry.
4. Make Box Base: Set box sides-unit on top of Foam Board and trace bottom. Use X-ACTO Knife and Cutting Mat to cut base slightly larger than line. Place base piece inside box wedging down inside box sides. Trim base if needed to fit.
5. Add Styrofoam: Use serrated knife to cut three 2" x 4" x 10" pieces from Styrofoam sheet. Arrange Styrofoam pieces into vase, trimming outer, bottom sections of Styrofoam to fit. Remove Styrofoam, apply Craft Bond Tacky Glue and re-insert.
6. Finish Edge: Use coping saw to cut wood trim into four 14" pieces. In a well-ventilated area, protect work area with newspapers and spray trim pieces with Gray Flannel paint. Let dry. Apply Tacky Glue to trim and press into place covering white foam edges of box.
7. Arrange Florals: Arrange eucalyptus knifeblade stems in Foam Board vase. Insert twigs among eucalyptus. Arrange grass around outside of arrangement. Drizzle Tacky Glue on top of Styrofoam. Attach Spanish moss, covering Styrofoam.
